Thyridia is a monotypic " Thyridia Hübner, 1816" at Markku Savela's Lepidoptera and Some Other Life Forms genus of clearwing (Ithomiini) butterflies, named by Jacob Hübner in 1816. Its only species is Thyridia psidii, the Melantho tigerwing or clapping ticlear.Glassberg, Jeffrey. (2007). A Swift Guide to Butterflies of Mexico and Central America. Sunstreak Books Inc. p.144. It is in the brush-footed butterfly family, Nymphalidae and is found in the Neotropical zone.
