In 2008, he began his studio career under the name Sham Group, a name inspired by his family. The group was originally founded by his father, Dilshad Yahya, who sadly passed away in 2018, just one day after his son’s birthday. By 2012, Sham Studio had become one of the leading centers for cinematography and photography in Kirkuk, especially known for its work at Chrakan Hall. The studio later evolved into a full production company, based in Shorja, until it closed in 2015 when Hamae Sham moved to Sulaymaniyah.
In 2018, he joined Kurdmax Media Network, where his talent and dedication quickly earned him a reputation as one of the network’s best directors. Today, Hamae Sham continues to inspire young Kurdish Director with his resilience, creativity, and lifelong passion for storytelling through the lens
