Crore (; Hindi: करोड़; abbreviated cr) denotes the quantity ten million (107) and is equal to 100 lakh in the Indian numbering system. In many international contexts, the decimal quantity is formatted as 10,000,000, but when used in the context of the Indian numbering system, the quantity is usually formatted 1,00,00,000.
Crore is widely used both in official and other contexts in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Pakistan. The next named numbers after it are arab (i.e. a billion), and kharab (i.e. a trillion), although they are not widely used in the modern-day Indian subcontinent.
