Orycteropus

 ( Orycteropodidae ) 

Orycteropus is a genus of mammals in the family Orycteropodidae within Tubulidentata. The genus is known from Late Miocene to Holocene of Africa.

The monotypic species within Tubulidentata is the aardvark ( Orycteropus afer).
