Notiosorex is a genus of shrew from the subfamily Soricinae.
History
Notiosorex shrews have a fossil history that extends to the
Miocene (i.e., mid-
Hemphillian). The geographic distribution of the genus has always been in the southwestern United States and northern Mexico.
