Máscara Dorada is the of a Mexican (or masked professional wrestler). He is signed to Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). He is the son of and the nephew of . He began his career in 2021 under the ring name Panterita del Ring Jr., winning the Mexican National Lightweight Championship later that year. In 2023, he adopted the ring name Máscara Dorada, previously used by , and went on to win the 2023 Leyenda de Plata, the World Historic Welterweight Championship, and the CMLL World Trios Championship on multiple occasions.

Dorada has also appeared in international promotions, including New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and All Elite Wrestling (AEW), through CMLL’s partnerships.

Professional wrestling career

Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (2021–present)
Panterita del Ring Jr.'s first documented match took place on 28 April 2021 at ’s wrestling school in Ecatepec. Just a month later, he made his Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) debut at Arena México, teaming with his father, Panterita del Ring, in the Copa Dinastías tournament. He gained his first title later that year, capturing the Mexican National Lightweight Championship. In December 2022, he partnered with Místico to win the Torneo Gran Alternativa, an annual tournament that pairs younger wrestlers with veterans.

In May 2023, Panterita vacated the lightweight title as part of a move to the welterweight division. The following month, he adopted a new identity, Máscara Dorada 2.0, the original name being previously used by . By the end of the year, he had dropped the “2.0” and began competing simply as Máscara Dorada. That July, he won the Leyenda de Plata tournament, defeating in the final. The two met again in December, with Dorada once again defeating Romero, this time to claim the World Historic Welterweight Championship. During this period, he also made appearances for CMLL’s partner promotions, including New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

Dorada’s momentum continued into 2024. In April, he entered the Universal Championship, a tournament for CMLL title holders, and won the final by defeating Magnus and Titán in a three-way elimination match. Three months later, he teamed up with Neón and Star Jr. to win the CMLL World Trios Championship. Their reign lasted two months, ending with a title loss in September. That same month, Dorada lost to Titán in the Copa Independencia tournament final at the CMLL 91st Anniversary Show.

In May 2025, he captured the World Trios Championship for a second time, this time alongside Místico and Neón, a trio known as El Sky Team. Later that month, he also competed in the final of the Copa Junior VIP tournament, where he lost to Zandokan Jr.


New Japan Pro-Wrestling (2023–present)
On November 10, 2023 at Lonestar Shootout, Dorada made his New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) debut, teaming with Tiger Mask and Atlantis to defeat , and Último Guerrero. Dorada would also particpate in the co-promoted CMLL and NJPW tour series , competed in various matches, teaming with and facing both CMLL and NJPW representatives.


All Elite Wrestling (2024–present)
In January 2024, it was announced the CMLL stars, Dorada, , Místico, and Volador Jr. would represent their home promotion, in American partner promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The four men made their debut on the January 31 episode of , appearing ringside during 's singles match against . After being taunted by Moxley during the match, the four men attacked him after his victory, before being chased off by members of the AEW roster. The four men made their AEW in-ring debut during the February 2 episode of , defeating Christopher Daniels, , Angelo Parker and Matt Menard, in an 8-man tag-team match.

On the May 28, 2025 episode of , Dorada defeated Hechicero to qualify for the to challenge for the AEW International Championship on June 4 at , where Dorada failed to win the title.
