Luteolejeunea is a monotypic genus of Marchantiophyta in family Lejeuneaceae. It only contains the one species, Luteolejeunea herzogii .Piippo S. A monograph of Lepidolejeunea and Luteolejeunea (Lejeuneaceae: Hepaticae). Acta Botanica Fennica 132: 1-69. (1986).
It is only found in Central America and northern parts of South America.
