Listrophoridae is a family of mites in the suborder Psoroptidia of the order Sarcoptiformes. The family contains small, long mites specialized for grasping the hairs of mammals.[Whitaker and Wilson, 1974, p. 11] North American genera include:[Whitaker and Wilson, 1974, pp. 10–11; Whitaker et al., 2007, p. 21]
Asiochirus is one Asian genus.

Oryzomys palustris) in Florida and Georgia.
