In
Greek mythology,
Iasis (
Ancient Greek: Ἴασις means 'healing, remedy') was one of the
Ionides Nymph whose spring waters were believed to cure diseases. She was an
Ancient Elis naiad-daughter of the
Potamoi Cytherus and sister to Synallasis, Pegaea and
Calliphaea.
