Gegenees

The Gegenees (from Greek language: Γηγενεής Gēgeneēs; Gēgenēs, "earth-born" or "indigenous") were a race of six-armed humanoids Nuremberg Chronicle who inhabited the same island as the Doliones in the Ancient Greece epic Argonautica.Apollonius Rhodius, Argonautica 1.941–6 (pp. 78, 79), 1.985–1011 (pp. 82–5). They were also called Gegeines.

Mythology Jason and the Argonauts landed on an island where the Gegenees resided. The Argonauts fought them and unknowingly left Heracles on the island where he continued to fight them. The Argonauts returned and were able to help Heracles fight them off.
