The genus Cryptolaemus consists of of the family Coccinellidae,[ Biolib] whose larvae and adults mostly prey upon on ornamental plants.
Taxonomy
There are seven species in the genus, in two groups, all originally from eastern Australia, New Guinea, and Indonesia.
