In Greek mythology, Anactor (Ancient Greek: Ἀνάκτορα means 'palace') was a prince as son of King Electryon and Anaxo, daughter of Alcaeus. He was the brother of Stratobates, Gorgophonus, Phylonomus, Celaeneus, Amphimachus, Lysinomus, Chirimachus, Archelaus and Alcmene, mother of the hero Heracles.Apollodorus, 2.4.5.

Mythology Together with his brothers, Anactor was killed by the sons of the Taphians king, Pterelaus who claimed the kingdom of their ancestor Mestor, son of Perseus and brother of Electryon.Apollodorus, 2.4.6.
