The book does an excellent job of covering a wide range of topics like 2D, 3D, Physics, etc... But does so without a huge amount of depth. If you are looking for a full start to finish tutorial then you're kinda out of luck, as this is the only book about PSM. I bought this book because I wanted to start developing for the PS Vita... and that's what it is all about. Some C# knowledge (or Java) would help you to start and this book will take you from that point to deploying your own apps/games on your PS Vita without wasting money (developers' tool and license are free right now!) or time.
