I've read many books on dogs and this book is #1 in importance and value if you want to understand dogs. I learned more about the science of dogs from this book than any other. It's amazing that this book is not the #1 dog book best seller on Amazon. Beats all the anthropomorphic, dog whispering, psychobabble, mysticism, folklore, and other doggie nonsense by a mile.
As the title suggests this is the funniest educational book that I have ever read. Whilst I haven't quite finished it yet, I have found that it is very straight to the point and makes you sit back and think about life from your dog's perspective. Whilst reading I often found myself looking at my dog going, ohh that's why you do that...how interesting. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves their dog enough to want the best life for their dog as a dog and not humanise them. My dog is certainly..
