In the Beginning there was Darkness..
And then there was Light. As Michael and Lucifer oversee and orchestrate the construction of Creation, the discarded Darkness hungers and schemes. Only Samael willingly interacts with it, offering companionship in exchange for compliance. However, feeling betrayed and rejected the Darkness turns on Samael attempting to consume him, which surprisingly results in a merger, birthing a new entity-The Dark Angel. Ultimately corrupting other angels, Samael raises an army and goes to war against Heaven''s forces on two separate occasions and is repelled by Lucifer each time. Then, for his hubris, Lucifer is exiled to Hell leaving Creation seemingly defenseless against the dark one''s inevitable return... Fortunately throughout time and space a multiplicity of events unfold including: the creation of Adam, Lilith, and Eve-and the agony of their union amidst the complexities of Eden; a merchant''s confrontation with Christ at the Crucifixion; and a dying soldier bartering his soul during the Vietnam war, all add to the simmering chaos that threatens to bring about Armageddon. Our only hope lies with the prophecy of the Hidden Kings, whose celestial calling is often concealed within the ignoble folds of human flesh.
