Maimonides was by far the most influential Jewish Philosopher, and is a good candidate for the 'expanded' Great Minds list, both from the perspective of Medieval Philosophy, and from Jewish Philosophy/Jewish Studies. I'm presenting this book (and the volume on Berkeley) simply as a proposal to get the volume under contract. Rudavsky was Steve Nadler's first choice as author for Maimonides, and I'd like to get her under contract before she's poached by someone else. We will of course do develoment work on the contents and chapters before the book is published. I'd just like to get the book 'under wraps' for now, and then sort out the details with the author as the time comes.
