My best friend got me hooked on these audio books, and this series in particular, when staying for a girl's weekend stay-over at my place. She listens to these before bed, and by the time she left, so did I. I'm now at book 3, and plan on getting the entire collection. The books are well-written, the audio voice narrator is soothing and sounds like she should actually be the main character, and I can't say enough about the author and style in general. ..
Another outstanding murder mystery by the talented Diane Mott Davidson. She not only conjures up a plate of delicious murder, she also cooks up wonderful recipes for the reader's pleasure. All of the recipes featured in the life of her amateur sleuth, Goldy Schulz (Professional Caterer), are included in the book so the reader can have more of a "being there" experience, if desired. The book is very easy reading. It keeps you guessing as to what will happen right up to the last page.It appears that Goldy has gotten hard to find happiness. Will be interesting to see how The two boys Arch and Julian handle another man around the house. Can hardly wait for the next installment of The Elk Park Preparatory School saga. Would be nice to have a smooth sailing school year but feel that somehow it will have some bumps in the road. Need to follow Julian..
