This is a great product but I wish that the books were a little bit more challenging. My son is in kindergarten and he is learning his sight words and how to read and so I purchased this product to further that process. The books are good but they are short and it seems like he moved beyond them quicker than we even had the chance to read all of them. I do have a younger son and I know now that I would start these books with him either in preschool or the summer before kindergarten so that I would maybe ..
This is a nice set for the price. It is very beginner, the books do not progress in level, one book is just as easy as the next and the 7 pages in the books are very very repetitive. If your child is at the point were they are learning to point at a word to read and you are looking for a sight word(dolch) readers set. This set was an instant hit with my 5 yr old daughter. She is just starting to learn the basics of reading in Kindergarten and I was looking for something to read at home that will help her practice.
