I ordered the 12-18 month for our tall 11 month old and it fits perfectly. There is plenty of room in the arms, legs and body for growth (or for a chunky-monkey baby). The material is so soft and washes pretty well (a tiny bit of pilling after about 30 washes). The front snaps are easy to snap (even in the dark) - not too tiny, and not too many of them. The back-door opening doesn't make any sense to me - I couldn't change a diaper through it, but it doesn't deter ..
