I purchased this item for my 2009 B Series 55 inch TV (UN55B6000). I paid the premium for a genuine Samsung part because I did not want to deal with incompatibility or possible low quality of aftermarket stuff. Samsung's website and the box packaging said this is compatible with that TV.
