The Nike Free Run 5.0 Running Shoes blend an incredibly flexible minimal outsole for more natural movement with the cushioning traction and lightweight support of a traditional running shoe. The upper is made from a lightweight knitted mesh with Flywire on the midfoot for ultra light ventilation and a supportive fit that moves with your foot. Hexagonal flex grooves are hot-knife cut into the outsole and wrapped around the sidewall so your foot can move more naturally in all directions. The heel is designed to mimic the shape of your foot and it rolls with the ground to deliver a more natural footstrike. An 8mm difference between heel and forefoot height enables the Nike Free 5.0 to provide the highest offset for increased cushioning and all the foot-strengthening advantages of natural movement. - A.D.
