The SIRIUS SC-C1 Sirius Connect universal tuner lets you to receive SIRIUS Satellite Radio in your vehicle. Just add a Sirius Connect adapter (available soon) and you'll be able to control all of the tuner's functions from your factory or after market stereo. You'll see channel, song, and artist information on your stereo's display, and you can save your favorite SIRIUS channels as presets. The package includes a roof-mount antenna that attaches to your vehicle with its powerful magnetic base. The included removable metal mounting plate makes it easy to install the SC-C1 out of sight.
Basically this product is what it is. It does what says it does, of course you still need to purchase your adapter for your particular stereo brand, but other than that, it works. The only gripe that I had with the product was that the antenna was poor. From the start it had an issue acquiring a signal. After years of using a portable universal tuner through either the FM tuner or aux. jack on my stereo, I finally decided it was time to upgrade my stereo head unit so I could integrate all my "attachments". I bought one of these SIRIUS tuner modules to enable me to receive satellite radio through my new in-dash unit. It works perfectly. The tuner is so sensitive that I can listen to SIRIUS with the car parked inside my garage.NOTE: an additional interface module is also required to connect this tuner to your in-dash unit. The specific interface module you need will depend on the brand and model of your head unit. Be sure you have both before beginning your installation.
