Works as intended. I wish there was a grommet or rubber-like piece that would surround the cables that run through this so reduce any bugs or possible small rodents from coming through. I bought a pair of these 2 gang plates to hide the cables that would otherwise be visible dropping from my wall mounted TV to the cabinet beneath it. This worked great for running AV to my flat screen wall mounted TV. I liked the 3-gang a little better than a 2 as I was able to open a bigger hole to see what was going on in the wall. I mounted my TV over a direct vent fireplace and this three gang allowed me to make sure I was strapped to a stud and greater than 2 feet in all directions from the fireplace.
