I rated this as 5 star because glass is far superior health-wise, to using plastic to store any liquid in. In my case I wanted gallon glass jars to store my tea and water in the fridge. I also distill my water and needed a gallon jar to store distilled water on my counter for coffee and cooking. I keep one gallon distilled and ready to use. And I don't want to use plastic because it deteriorates and those deteriorating particles go into whatever liquid it's stored..
