I don't think anyone has mentioned has extraordinarily noisy this thing is. I can't keep it running all the time, it's so loud. I just turn it on to do back-ups.
I'll try not to just repeat what all the other reviewers have said. I do recall reading several reviews prior to purchasing which mentioned noisy operation, so I wanted to add my two cents' worth in that regard. I bought the 1 TB IoSafe because I wanted a good detachable hard drive that would last. I think it is worth the cost for what you get.
