I used these as the centerpiece for my daughters wedding with rose petals scattered around. They looked great. Very nicely made. I used the battery tealights that flicker and then there was no mess inside. Lots of compliments on how beautiful.
I looked at this lamp for quite some time. I assumed that it may be something you see in a "junk" imports shop, but decided to take a chance when I recieved some gift money and order it for my Moroccan themed bedroom. I was not disappointed.The glass is beautiful, textured and has a very deep coloration. The metal seems sturdy and didn't have marks and scratches. These arrived fairly quickly and they were well packed. I bought two of them as a gift for a friend and after reading the less positive reviews, decided I would keep them if they didn't measure up. Well, it looks like they will be in my garden.The glass is a much paler blue than the photo shown and one of the lanterns is assembled so poorly that it is leaning badly -- I would not trust it with a candle. I don't know how long the ring at the top will hold; it is not sturdy. ..
