                                   Truly an all-purpose telescope.  The triplet lens is high quality glass and workmanship - in moments of steadiness, you can see fine detail in the Jovian bands; the lumen in the Ring Nebula; and, believe it or not, the dust lane in M102 (NGC 5866), which has been described as requiring a 12 inch telescope.
