When I initially ordered this popcorn, I noted that 70% of the reviewers found it to be excellent, while 5% of them said it was awful. I am a self-confessed popcorn junkie, and eat it almost nightly. I normally prepare Black Jewell Popcorn in the microwave (and it is very, very good, BTW), but was craving an opportunity to savor a real "movie-theater" taste, and so I was anxious to cook up that first package of Great Northern.
