I use this card with Ubuntu Linux 10.04.2 and Zoneminder 1.23.2, and it works very well. Since this card only has one Analog to Digital decoder, you will be sharing 30FPS between inputs. All four ports will work if you modify your Modprobe.conf file to accurately represent the card. This is excelent video capture hardware, however the factory software is not compatible with windos vista. I was able to use the card anyway using the opensource programs VLC media player, and Virtual dub.Using VLC there is a 1-2 second delay in the playback, but the image quality is higher.However, I choose to use the capture preveiw function of Virtualdub instead.
