The deciding factor for me was the width. It's as wide as they say it is :)A nit: The slip-on handles on the sliding glass doors come off if the doors are opened too quickly/far.
I chose this product because it accepted a 70 inch HDTV and it has a convenient space for a sound bar.There was some assembly involved and it went well. The components are high quality and the assembled product is perfect.I am happy to recommend this tv console to those looking for something that can support a heavy tv. It looks as nice as it does in the picture. Instructions were simple enough to follow. The only thing I would caution is to measure whatever it is you plan on putting in those storage behind the glass; I had an AV Receiver I wanted to put in there but only found out after I fully constructed the TV stand that it does not fit in the compartment (because of the separators). I ended up taking it apart enough to remove one of the compartment separator and it turned out fine.
