Great for tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), jjampong (spicy seafood noodle soup) and japchae Packaged through a safe and sanitary process Wood ears mushrooms are most often used in Korean style Chinese foods, Tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), Jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup), and Japtangbap (stir-fried seafood on rice).
Given its so difficult to find woodear mushrooms that don't come from China, I caved & bought these. They look, taste, & smell good, but I'd recommend you sort & rinse them carefully. I almost broke a tooth eating them because i pulled a small pebble from my mouth that I accidentally cooked along with my food. Like others mentioned, you do get a lot so i recommend that you only reconstitute a little at a time to gauge how much you need.
