Most of these maps are a year or two out, and the trip to Costa Rica was the same. Really helped getting back to our hotel from Manuel Antonio, but didn't,t have the newest parts of the new highway. No problem as it helped way more than hurt. Peace of mind in a non-english speaking country.
I kept hoping the maps in this product would get better. My wife and I went to visit the wine country South of Mendoza, Argentina. This product was helpful in finding restaurants around town and generally getting us to places that had well defined addresses. When it came to driving in the country to various wineries, it was fairly useless. It had less than half of the well established wineries in its database and commonly didn't even have the names correct for roads that it did have in the database. We ..
A great product, I used it for my trip to Costa Rica and it was extremely helpful in getting around, most of the street had no street signs and it still provided great directions. My only issue was new roads and business could of been more current and updated, while doing searches I was not able to find it on the unit. I am glad I purchased the unit for my trip.
