I purchased the Garmin Rino 610 series GPS/handheld radio combo. This unit is a great idea, and as far as hardware goes on this unit, so far it's been great. The range of the radio is excellent. The GPS will find exactly where you are quickly and accurately. The ability to let others in your party know where you are using a data burst in the radio is the reason I purchased this item.
