This is a strange album, with an unusual sound, and yet very balanced and listenable. I have found no bad songs, no filler. It's at once ethereal, industrial, dark and danceable. Definitely not a flash in the pan, as Claire Boucher's other albums are also very good.I came to know Grimes through a mention from Austra, another outstanding Canadian group. Ambient, electronic, dreamy, chillout - different and artistic. I wasn't sure I was going to like this, but it grew on me quickly. Relaxing but gets my imagination going.
