This shower seat is rated to hold 350 pounds. Since I weigh around 250 pounds, I thought it should have plenty of excess capacity. Not true. I was wobbly and eventually the legs started to bend. I would imagine it would happen quicker if you extended the aluminum legs for a taller seat. Caveat emptor!
