The ribbed Santoprene® surround eliminates flex and distortion and the subwoofer also features an injection molded Polypropylene cone. Extra strong adhesive and stitching prevents the cone from detaching from the surround. The subwoofer includes progressive-roll polycotton spider and high-strength Spiralead&trade tinsel leads for maximum signal transfer. The CompVR 10CVR12-2 has 360-degree constant-contact back bracing, high-temp voice coil around a vented pole piece and perimeter venting that cools the sub's motor structure.
