It only has 4 or so different frequencies it operates at, but I've driven in the Dallas Metroplex and never had any interference. Signal is nice and strong. I drive a Nissan Altima and no problems what so ever. Way better than one of the 1st gen Belkins I tried to use several years ago.
We have purchase several FM Tranmitters-- not impressed with any-- til we got this one. We were successful in playing in 3 different vehicles-- one being an RV.. We also liked that there are no batteries to replace- as we feel this highly effected our last few transmitters- if the battery was the very least low- it would not work properly.The only downfall we can see is it is not cordless-- but none the less--- it works better than any other one we have had in the past.Oh yeah--- and the fact in charges as ..
Background: I'm new to this iPod / MP3 player thing. I wanted to get my feet wet, so I recently bought a certified refurbished iPod Shuffle - 1st Generation for around $33 at the Apple Store.
