This is the first solo album of the lead singer of Helloween (from the albums Master of the Rings, The time of the Oath, The Dark Ride and so). Still, the album doesn't sounds like Helloween at all, it's still rock but more melodic, and without the speed factor. Some songs like "Good bye Jenny" and "Now that I know this ain't Love" are very mellow, nice ballads. As much as I enjoy Andi Deris's work with Helloween and think he was the perfect choice to replace Michael Kiske, it's good to hear his voice on a melodic rock album again.
