Handcrafted by the famous & very skilled "Bishwakarmas" (Kaami or blacksmith) using very high quality materials in a very traditional manners. Blade is Semi-polished blade, Sharp edge, Full tang,Great for Heavy duty outdoor works. 8" Blade with 4.5" white Sadhan wood handle, Overall length 12.5", thickness about 3/8" at Spine. Made of Carbon Steel 5160 metal, full tang handle,This is the tactical kukri. Overall weighs 1.54lb with sheath.Comes with two small utilities knives. 8" Blade AEOF Afghan Kukri - The smaller Version of Afghan Kukri - This is the smaller version of current issue for Gurkhas who are in Afghan war therefore the name derived after the Afghanistan. The Gurkhas are deployed since the conflict started for Enduring Operation Freedom in Afghanistan (AEOF). The Regiment is decided to carry new kukri fit to the Afghan desert environment hence the Afghan Kukri AEOF is issued to Gurkhas. It is about 12.5 inches; in overall length with an 8 inches double Fuller (Angkhola Style) semi-polished blade made of highly graded carbon Steel, Very sharp blade. The handle is made of white Sadhan wood. the weight of the kukri with sheath is approximately 1.54 lb ( or 700 grams). The shape is different and has finger grip. It is full tang running through it making it super strong which is about 4.5" long. The scabbard is natural leather which is off-white color. The craftsmanship on this knife is amazing so if you are looking for the finest quality Kukri you will not be disappointed. Two Small Accessory Knives: The Karda; which has a sharp edge is used of skinning animal hairs & other one called Chakmak which has blunt edge is used for sharpening blade.
