Bought as a gift, works well. Never thought about germs on cell phone until I saw this product. Edit as of 2/13/17, top bulb cracked, tried calling the 800 number on the card that shipped with the phone, disconnected. Sent the company an email, no reply. Would not recommend.
This is a great device to sanitize your phone. I am a scientist and I decided to test the effectiveness of this phone by myself. I performed a swab test before and after using the Phonesoap. Please see my attached picture for results. The top panel shows a swab test from the phone before the UV treatment.
