Although this sleeve is advertised as able to carry an alienware m17x, it can't. My m17x R3 does not fit at all, and my friend's new 17" Dell XPS won't fit either. If your laptop is a thin widescreen laptop, it should be fine (i.e. a macbook), but if you've got something thick then I'd suggest another sleeve.In terms of quality, the sleeve looks really nice. There isn't anything jutting out, and the zipper is high quality and difficult to wear down. The cloth is very smooth and doesn't have any loose thread..
