Will Hawkins (A.J. Draven) is a laid back university student who enjoys a quiet lifestyle with his small group of friends. Though he practices martial arts including Tai-Chi Will renounces all violence due to his difficult childhood and memories of abuse. A vampire clan has been living near the campus and searching for fresh blood. Coven leader Julian (Tony Todd) looks to pass his throne to a worthy successor. In order to pass his coveted title one of the vampires in his coven must fight and kill a sentry (a member of an elite order of vampire hunters).
