Doulton Replacement filter for the Franke FRX02 water system seems to have a restricted flow causing hot water to sputter when dispensing. This didn't happen with the O.E.M. filter, which came with the original unit. I followed all the instructions, including breaking in the filter by running the water through it for one half hour, but the water continues to sputter when dispensing. Although the price is lower, I intend to go back to the Franke O.E.M. filter next time.
Perfect fit for Franke Water Filter system, easy installation and water tastes great. Much cheaper than the "official" Franke brand. According to the promotional info, this device is made by the company that originally manufactured the "official" Franke brand. therefore, it is the real deal. Great service from the vendor with prompt shipping of well packaged and protected contents.
I have tried these filters and while they fit Franke Tri-Flow faucets just fine, they last only around half as long as the Franke brand filters. Since they are more than half as much, they are probably not as good a buy as they appear to be.
