These work very well for very soft boot shafts such as suede or the like. Do not work very well for men's cowboy boots as the spring action is very weak.
These shapers are just what my knee high boots needed -- they're sturdy and easy to place inside the boot. As an extra plus, with the shapers in place you can easily pick up the boots by the top handles. I will continue buying these for any future boot purchases.
