This little RF modulator allows connection between newer DVD and VCR players (with RCA cables but no coaxial connection) and older televisions which have only a coaxial input/output jack. The RCA connection is inserted at the back and coaxials in the front.I have a couple of these placed on older sets which are not used often and they work extremely well, with a bonus of being very small and unobtrusive.
