A teacher at my school received a class set of iPads, but the apple tv wasn't compatible with his new (but non-HD) projector. Thought he needed a brand new HD projector, but we did the research and found this product. Worked like a charm and was able to connect the apple tv to his projector, so now his class can stream wirelessly to the projector.
