The battery wouldn't charge out if the box; it's a glitch with the OS when the battery drains, putting it in recovery mode allowed the battery to start charging. Later, the battery drains fast and died completely when it showed 20% and it takes forever to charge. Next, which was my fault, do not upgrade to lollipop, it will slow down. One thing I noticed that helped out was to upgrade it then reset the tablet to factory defaults.

The 8GB model will probably be discontinued and you will get a 16GB Nexus 7 for the amount you pay for an 8GB model now.
