this controller is great for call of duty or black ops 2. short throw triggers.sticks are acurate and tight.holds very comfortable...ONLY issue is the cable is only 6 feet long.. will need a usb extension if need of a longer cable..
As far as 3rd party controllers go, this has been, hands down, the best option I've personally experienced. It feels nice in the hand, not cheap and the analog sticks feel almost identical to the official 360 controller. One "con", if you can call it that, might be that the triggers have a noticeable resistance- something that's desirable for racing games but perhaps not what a pro fps player might want. This is clearly intentional by the developers of this..
