I've been trying since the 1st week in January to resolve an issue with a camera which quit working. I've done EVERYTHING Lorex has asked of me, easter egged with Tech support for hours, finally got them to agree the camera was defective, faxed my receipt to Lorex, paid $14 to ship THEIR defective product back to them, they've had the defective camera for nearly 2 weeks now and I cannot get an answer back as to when, if ever, I will get my replacement shipped back to me. Worst customer service in the world...
I bought this unit Aug 2, 2010. I bought a new ,Monitor for this unit. The unit worked properly for 10 days before failing to transfer to the monitor. After several weeks of trying to find the problem I tried contacting Lorex. This required 4 E mail. They asked me to try several tests with no results. They agreed to replace the receiver and their requirements are quite a chore. The replacement did not work at all. So far I am pleased with my purchase. All the parts were included, also there was a quick start guide that was very clear and helped me set up the cameras. Everything seems to be working fine so far. It was very easy to set up.This set was bought to monitor the area around my garage in the back yard and both cameras are able to transmit the distances that were advertised. One of the cameras is a good 350-400 feet away and the signal is still coming in strong to a room at the other side of our home.A bonus w..
