The towels definitely picks up water well but are a bit thin as opposed to their other single color microfiber towels (Eurow Microfiber 16 x 16 in. 300 GSM Cleaning Towels 12-Pack (Yellow)) or at least they seems that way. Overall, they do their job well compared to other MF towels as Eurow and Viking do their job well.
As someone said below, these cloths are more like little towels. It's a big difference in absorbency and general cleaning ability from most of those thin cloths. Excellent product!
I have stopped using paper towels thanks to these microfiber towels. My biggest gripe with some of the cheaper towels is that they leave behind lint and push liquids around instead of sopping them up. I use my stash until I run out then I wash them in the laundry and hang them to dry. I can last about a week with the 12 pack (averaging 1-2 a day).I use them mostly for wiping down surfaces around the house: kitchen counter, hallway counter, coffee tables, end tables, desks, etc. I don't do anything heavy dut..
